Technologies was formerly the General Electric Company (GEC) of Malaysia. The name was changed in 1997 to reflect the company ís commitment to Malaysia and High Technology.
Incorporated in 1960, the company has positioned itself to cater traditional electrical and mechanical engineering needs, and is poised to offer newer technologies.
The company has an in-house R&D facility and is aligned to the needs of the nation, and supportive of the governments vision of nurturing home grown products that are indegenous and facilitate transfer of technology.
Internal growth is underpinned with new product development within the Engineering Development Centre and the company is exploring new opportunities.
From its central strengths of Systems Integration and Project Management the group offers its products and services throughout South East Asia. The company is wholly owned by local Malaysia shareholding.
In 2005, the company underwent a restructuring exercise. The company welcomed new shareholders that include Kunci Optima Sdn Bhd and Sri Inderajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd.
In Malaysia the company boasts a prestigious customer base from Tenaga Nasional and Telekom Malaysia to Intel and Motorola, with an impressive list of projects.
